Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She has been recognized for acting as well as being among the best-paid Bollywood actresses. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988, in Ayodhya In Uttar Pradesh, she was the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) She is also a housewife. Karnesh Sharma is Anushka's younger brother. Karnesh was in the Merchant Navy, and is currently a film producer. Anushka Sharma is a graduate of the Army School Bangalore. Anushka Sharma relocated to Mumbai for the purpose of registering in Elite Model Management and be groomed under the guidance by style advisor Prasad Bidapa. Her first appearance as a fashion model was in the year 2017, in which she was a model in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week after which she was picked by Rodricks for a role at his spring-summer 2007 collection. Since her modelling debut at Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did numerous campaigns for various brands, n she has done campaigns to promote the brand's Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry as well as Fiat Palio etc. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling career joined an acting school and began giving auditions to film. Anushka sharma made her film debut in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she was not willing to take the test in a hurry and instead spent one day to get ready. Later on she was a part of three films by Yash Raj Films. In the movie, she was portrayed as a young lady who was married to a middle age man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka played a Punjabi girl of middle class in the movie called 'Band Baaja Baaraat. Anushka was in the film with Ranveer. It was a surprise hit and was praised by the critics. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka's three-film agreement under the Yash Raj Films banner was final.
